So one could say β€οΈπποΈβ‘οΈπ₯°πΆπ and it could mean "The heart's dreams fly to its beloved one as they sail upon the sea," or "Love's thoughts soar to one who sails among the waves," or something along those lines, depending on how it is used? Is there a way to differentiate, or is the interpretation up to the reader?
But if I mean "beloved", wouldn't π₯° be more appropriate thanπ§ββοΈ? The latter could be any kind of person, but the former clearly expresses a loving emotion. Also why ββ€οΈ?
It can both matter and not matter, depending on your position and how one theoretically desires to both express themself and be understood.
I see. Yes, that does work, in that case for that nuanced expression.
β€οΈπβ Whyβ€οΈπβββ
Poetry can be viewed from many different angles, and it's the process of trying to see it through the eyes of the artist or the reader that creates the varying emotional reactions. If I view a poem through my own eyes in my natural state, I will see it differently than if I try and put myself in the shoes of someone who is in a situation that is different than my own. That is also why a person's reaction to a poem or any sort of art will vary widely, hence rendering right and wrong meaningless.
Because β€οΈπ. Do I need a reason? Too bad. You don't get one.
If nothing has a right or wrong to it, then what's the point of it? How does it have any meaning at all? There has to be a right way and a wrong way to use the words, otherwise they're just gibberish.
I don't agree on either, but then, I'm not seeing the world through your eyes. I would be interested to see what kind of poetry you would write, Klaudia-guniang! If you ever decide to write any, I would ask that you might be kind enough to share it with me. Your perspective on the world is something that I would like to hear more about.
I told you, I take notes and I keep a log. A journal, sort of. Except they're both sort of journals but for different things. A work journal and a time-keeping journal. My work journal here has a bunch of alchemy notes in it, sigils and formulas and symbols. And anything else I find interesting. Stuff about the magic here, the skeletons, the familiars.
I'm good at tailoring, crafting, woodcarving. I'm good at boats--both repairing them and navigating. I'm great at magic. β¨

Though that leaves out some of the nuance.

Weren't you saying that it doesn't matter what you mean in the first place? Or does it matter after all? π€π€π€

So it only matters or doesn't matter according to whether it makes you right or not. I see. Very sneaky! But also incorrect. β
